In 1999, a group of technicians got together and decided to create an IT support company that operated differently than all of the companies they had previously worked for. We believed that most IT companies had lost their way. We felt they no longer cared about the real needs of their clients and the only important factor was improving their own bottom line. Many IT companies in the industry had gotten a reputation for overpricing, cutting corners, and not communicating with their clients. We could really see the result of this as clients followed technicians they liked to other IT companies if they changed employers. We decided a change was in order. Being honest with our clients, keeping our rates and pricing fair and to always, always, keep the client’s best interests in mind. That was the beginning of GTI and 25 years later, we are still doing that.
